UPDATE ON LUNA

LUNA HAD SURGERY YESTERDAY. SHE DID VERY WELL. SHE DID NOT HAVE ANY BAD REACTIONS TO THE ANESTHESIA OR ANY OF THE PAIN MEDICATION. BECAUSE OF PAST PROBLEMS WITH OTHER SURGERIES LUNA DIDNT WANT TO HAVE GASTRIC BYPASS IN FEAR SHE WOULD DIE FROM ANAPHYLATIC SHOCK, AS SHE ALMOST DID 7 YAERS AGO WHEN GIVEN A SHOT OF DEMEROL. SO, NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WERE ALL SCARED WHEN SHE WENT IN FOR THIS SURGERY. BUT ALL WENT VERY WELL. SHE WILL BE RELEASED TOMARROW AFTERNOON. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED AS I CAN. I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR YOUR WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO LUNA. THIS HAS BEEN A LONG AND HARD DECISION SHE MADE. AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER RIGHT NOW. PLEASE CONTINUE TO SEND ENCOURAGEMENT TO HER AS SHE IS RECOVERING. WITH LOVE AND HUGGS CINDY

Hey Cindy I'm so happy for your sister. I know that you were both struggling with the thought of her having this surgery.. Glad to hear that everything went well!!! Cindy, Please let us know about the update on Luna... I saw another posting, but can't find it. I've had someone in the hospital with a broken neck, so I have been out of touch.
