Flying Home today!!!

As we speak, I am in Monterrey, Mexico where I was just banded on Monday by Dr. Arturo Rodriguez. I will be flying home today! Can´t wait until this week passes and I am no longer sore. I came to Mexico alone and think that anyone can do it alone too. My biggest problem was putting my shoes on by myself after the surgery! It is hard to bend over. Not to scare anyone, but I am in quite a lot of pain too. Mostly gas pains and pain at the port site. I´m sure it will all be worth it in the end. I hope to see you all on the losing side shortly! Congrats Nicole!!! I wish you all the best in your recovery and your weight loss as well. I think there was something on the forum about post-op gas pains, the best advice was to walk it off slowly so it can work it's way out of the body. Take Care Kelli

Nicole......congrats! I have scheduled my surgery in Monterrey with Dr. de la Garda for Dec. 28th. Was wondering how you are feeling today, Nov. 30th. Good luck with your recovery.
