?about pre wls fasting

i fly into vallarte at 11:42 my sx. is at 6:oopm why do i have to start fasting at 5:oo am. is this my time in ga. or time in mexcio?please help!

I was told not to eat or drink anything after I woke up that morning. Which for me was 3:00 a.m., and my surgery was about the same time as yours. I'd say go for whichever time is the longest. Better to be safe. Best wishes, Kina 220/172/130
