Just a note, to let you all, I love reading your posts and experiences. I am so excited for you Jeremy, reading your new journey. I decided today was the day for me to break some creeping old habits. I have NEVER been good at vitamins. Any pills for that matter. I ordered some Baratric vitamins today, and started them. I have set out with drinking my water rules! I suck at drinking water. I ordered some of the frui****er sensation thingees, to help me in this area. I also ordered the unjury protien to try uping my protien. And Lastly, I am heading back to the track today. I was so faithful, and I just let it all go!! Anyways, my goal is to get in top notch shape for upcoming surgery on Nov 3oth, with Dr. Joya. I have gotten all my papers and questionare done and sent off. I will look forward in coming weeks to find anyone else going on and around the same time. I plan to go travel alone, my girlfriend, is going to meet me in PV from California. I am wanting her to wait til after 4 days hospital stay, then I will be feeling like doing some things. I am learning names, but remembering them sometimes is quite the task, but THANK YOU everyone for your posts, and encourging words. Sandy

Hi Sandy! It is so great to read all about the wonderful things you are doing to prepare yourself for surgery. Sounds like you are on the right track. All of my extended family lives in your area. Denison and Sherman mostly, but, my family has some restaurants in Hugo and Atoka (I think that is the name). I can't wait to get back over there and see everyone. So, it is nice to meet you! hugs, Molly PS, you are gonna do great...heck, you already ARE!

The hamburger joint in Hugo is called the Busy Bee. It is a historical fixture right downtown owned by my Sam and Charlotte Young. It has been there for at least 30 years or so and is built in a train car. All of the kids in the family grew up working there and it iis a classic greasy burger and milkshake place! Mmmmmmmm! It would be so fun to meet you too sometime. Ahhh...I really do miss the comforts of family and greasy hamburgers! LOL! Thanks for the compliment! You know...it's a curious thing about being a hottie, hehe, it is so nice for the outter hottie to catch up with the inner hottie that I have always known I was. It is really great feeling more girly and attrative than I ever have. And, where else can you go for such blatant self promotion but here? haha! Gotta love tootin your own horn huh? Seriously, thanks though! hugs, Molly

Good Golly Ms. Molly!! Yes, I am somewhat familier with the Busy Bee. I personally have never been there, but have always heard about it. My hubby has been there, though. What a small world!!! Correct me, but did you guys live in Dallas area, and move up north? I remember reading your profile. Later tator, Sandy

HI Sandy It is so important to keep up with your vitamins once you have surgery. I also started mine before surgery. I have been using the unjury product since 2 days after surgery. I read in a profile that someone else had done that to keep up there energy level.I also hope that is the reason that I had no hair loss.. I love that product even though it is a bit expensive. I still have it twice a day in my coffee to get my day started!!! Good luck with your up coming surgery!! Your on the right track for success. GerrAnn 245/177

GerrAnn, Thank you ! So I have read, that with the unjury, you have to be careful with the "hot things" that it will clump up? Is that true? Did you get the unjury on a order program where they send you so much so often? I am going to have a struggle with these vitamins. I ordered these maybe too quickly. I think they are good. But since, I have discovered one brand that is chewable. I think I might have to go with a chewable bariatric brand. I am thinking chewable is better tasting that liquid. I am just not a big one on swallowing, and these feel like they are right in my stoma. I am going to have some hot soup for lunch, and sometimes if I take my vit with last bite, the warm fluids help go ahead and dissolve it. Thanks ! Hugs, Sandy

Hi Sandy It's funny that you should ask about mixing unjury with hot things.. Up until last week I would mix my protein with a small amount of water and then add it to my drink.. Which was a hassle using 2 glasses each time.. But I just found out that if I heat my coffee water for 1 min. in the micro. and slowly stir in the scoop of protein.. It works just great.. I would suggest that you be careful stocking up on supplies before your surgery because you may like the taste of something today and not be able to stand the taste after surgery.. I ordered the samples of unjury to take with me for surgery and they worked ok with me from the beginnng.. Now I order them by the case to save money... I also order a baractric vitamin on line from walgreen (they only sale it online) called optisource.. it is a chewable that has a citrus flavor.. but there are many sources for vitamins on this site. My daughters rny doctor recromended these to her so i got them also. And I take 3 citracal calcium citrate pills daily, liquid vitamin b about 2x a week(walmart brand) biolton for skin and hair loss (I took it the first 5 months or so but not now) Good Luck! GerrAnn

thanks GerrAnn, I had read about not getting it too hot and clumpy. I am not a coffee drinker, but with winter coming on, SF hot choc or hot tea is a option! I also thought of putting in oatmeal. And yeah, I did order some samples too. I already asked about using the non flavored powder in the both and jello, or clear fluid stage, thinking it will help with energy. I remember when i got banded, that was a issue, and I ended up going to full liquid, esp skim milk little sooner, just to get protien in. Thanks on the tips of the optisource. I actually seen that briefly. I only got one month of vitamins. So I might have to change to chewables. I did take my noon vits with few last bites of my soup, and I think that helped! I also will be most proud if the protien and also starting the Biotin will help with hair loss. thank you so much! Sandy

Hey Sandy Yeah I'm not much of a coffee drinker either. I use those international coffees that are suger/caffeen free. Makes it pretty yummy. In the summer i just add ice to them and drink them pretending like I just made a trip to starbucks or something The unflavored works really good in everything.. Also good in the sugerfree puddings etc. It would work great in the oatmeal!! I just found a easy way for me and kinda stuck with it!! My daughter uses a brand found at GNC and she really likes it also. So there are cheaper options. But we did find that the unjury brand mixes easier. GerrAnn
