I need an angel

I know I haven't been on the board much, so people don't know me yet. I work 60-70 hrs a week on my newspaper, so I have so little time to come here. I feel like I know most of you because I've read all your profiles during the last two years. I'm working on a deadline this week and trying to get things in order before I leave on the 14th. I've decided to go a day early and see a dentist before going to Dr. Aguirre. I went to my regular dr. last week, and was surprised that I had lost 20 lbs since I last saw him in May. I was 313 a year ago, then started putting more weight on, I guess in May I weighed I weighed 332, now its 312. I knew I was having a horrible time getting around - no wonder! It's amazing what a difference 20 lbs can do. I also found that I am officially termed diabetic. I knew it was only a matter of time - at my weight. I don't have to take any medications yet, so it wasn't that bad, in fact my sugar was only 90 at the dr.'s that day. He is happy I'm having the surgery. I also was recently diagnosed with macular degeneration. The dr. says it's a-typical though - it's throughout my eyes, not just in the one area. Says he doesn't know if it's good or bad, we just have to watch it. I hope it doesn't get too bad, because I love to read more than just about anything. I know I "graduated" from bi-focals to tri-focals, I got the progressive lens, so I hope they work good. They haven't come in yet. This is embarrasing I use the computer all the time, but I can't figure out how to post to my profile. Can someone help me? I was so disappointed a year ago, when I had to cancel my surgery. Now that the time is here, I feel like the months have just flown by. Everyone take care ~ Vicki in AZ

First congrats on your upcomming surgery date , mine is Oct 25 with Dr A. I am very excited!! Second - about your profile, click on "your profile" up at the top of the page, it will then probably ask for your password, then a screen with a scale on it will open with numerous options to click on - choose general information then scroll down to comments and write whatever you want in that box, save and then check out your profile. next time you want to write more , do the same thing, except go below what you typed in this time and add more, if you erase it it will be gone forever. Hi Jeremy - I replied to you awhile ago - but it hasn't appeared yet. Maybe I hadn't sent it yet when I had to reboot my computer. I appreciate your guidance and will give it a try tomorrow night.
