Bathroom issues

someone may have already posted about this, but I couldn't find anything. I had the lap band surgery on Monday, Aug. 8. I have been on liquids for 8 days but I'm a little concerned that I haven't had a BM since the day before surgery. Is this normal because I haven't been eating solid foods?

I was banded on July 27th and didn't have a BM for several days, so I ate some baby food prunes. But boy when it broke loose...look out. Good Luck.

i had my rny on tuesday the 9th and have yet to have a bm. doc told me that was ok because i had nothing really in me. told me the more broth i would eat, probley have one soon. i think if i have not had one by the time i get back to the states, i will try the baby food prunes. good luck!! Jen
