Has anyone had a Mexico Lap Band done??

Ladonna, $7250.00 for an Inamed band, all inclusive. As far as Ive heard Dr Huacuz in Tijuana Mex is the most competetive surgeon around. And after being banded myself 4/2/2005 (down forty pounds) I am and was extremely pleased with the surgery and services recieved from Dr Huacuz and his staff. The choice is a hard one. But for me, being a self pay I had to find the best price out there. It just so happened that I found a great surgeon at the same time. I lucked out, so I pass out the info every chance I get. Gitana - I am planning to have lapband surgery in Mexico in September. I have a few questions to ask about returning to work. How did you feel with eating so little? I suppose I am just concerned about being 'lightheaded', weak etc and unable to perform. Any advice? Also, what kind of shakes etc. have you found to be the best. Thanks, any help will be appreciated. Bette
