Update on me...Finally!

Hey everyone, I finally posted my Mexico experience in my journal. If you go to my profile you can find an uplink to my journal or click on the uplink below. Let me warn you, it's full of details so it may be a long read for some. I'm sorry I've been out of the loop lately and not posted much, but I'm trying to adjust to being back at work and studying for finals right after surgery. Finals are next week! oh boy, Maria, the absolute most scared of moment for me is the waking up after surgery. And everything you described is exactly what I'm afraid of. Let us know how you progress. Robbin

Hi Maria, Man our experiences are very similar!!! I agree with you on the recovery room... it was very noisy, and everytime I opened my eyes two of the nurses kept yelling "HELLLLOO" I hate waking up from surgery -- I hate that feeling you have of being in and out of it. I get nightmares when I think about it. I think my swelling is just now starting to subside, and I wi**** would hurry up. I'm not starving, but I am hungry. I'm going to start full liquids on Saturday. Oh my... I had no idea that was your SON with you!!! I thought it was a friend. You are so young looking Jennifer

Thank you Jennifer. I was 15 when I had him so that's why I look young to have a 22 year old son. I'm 38 now. Anyway, I consulted with the people on Dr. Aceve's group in Yahoo and it turns out today Thursday, is when I start full liquids because it's my 2 week post-op. So you had yours on Friday so you can start tomorrow. Thought you'd like to know. Maria
