lap rny w/ aceves?????????

his site list no one on this board as having lap rny w/ dr. aceves kindof scarry. i am scheduling for dec. would love to hear from some one elese hwo has been to him! thank so much vicki g.

Vicki, I had the lap band with Dr. Aceves. However I did have a hiatal herinia with it and he repaired it. I believe he is an extremely knowledgeable Physician and he really has a passion for surgery. He made the comment to me that he does not rush his surgeries and that he enjoys the moment. I don't know about Lap RNY but I do Know that if I need any other surgeries that are not insured I will definely go to Dr. Aceves. However, you need to feel comfortable about your surgeon. Maybe you could post a message to Nina on Dr. Aceves board and see if there is anyone that she knows of who would be willing to talk to you about Dr. Aceves and the Lap RNY. Good Luck CArla
