Did anyone get sick with the water from Mexico? should i take my own?

Amy, It is always safer to bring bottled water. Don't drink the tap water down there. I asked my doctor about any shots that I would need, but I asked too late. The shots wouldn't have been effective, so he told to just not drink the water and I'll be fine. Not even ice. Only drink things that have been bottled or canned. Hope that helps!! Cheers! Lorraine

Depends on where you are going. You can buy bottled water in Mexico and it is fine. The hotel in Monterrey filtered their water, and it was drinkable as was. However, that is the only place I've drunk the water straight from the tap. (The hospital provided bottled water in the room. Nice hospital, eh?) -Pam
