dr. a charges 9400.00 for surgery now
Actually, I had read a post from someone saying that after next year he will be charging 10,600 so apparently he will be raising prices again. I think they were trying to schedule a date for next year and had to know how much it would be so she could budget. (?)
It has gone up every year for the last few years.
Good luck with your surgery Angela.

Yep, When I found out about the increase in price I booked it in 2004 as soon as I could. It was $8500 then. When I first started my research on him it was $6400. This is why I had surgery around Christmas. It would not have been my first choice otherwise, LOL. It made for VERY crowded flights coming home on Dec. 21st!
Anyway, it's all about supply and demand. He is in *great* demand and is adjusting his prices accordingly. People are beating his door down to have surgery at all of the prices he has set so far. Being postop is so totally worth it. But, if his price keeps increasing incramentally like this over the next couple years he will price himself out of the self-pay market and people will not travel there as much for surgery.
My suggestion is to lock in a surgery date, email Rosella and then print out the price quote with all the other info she will send you and then get your money order for that amount and then go, go, go! I'm not saying this will lock in your price but it should help you.
Best of luck to you!!! If you already have $6700 then you are almost there.

Hey Dot! How are you doing? You need to update your pics! I'm going to try and remember to e-mail a pic of the baby in her Easter outfit up here to work and I'll forward it on to you and Gunny. Don't know if he passed on the info, but I'm pregnant again. I go to the doc on Monday for an ultrasound and hopefully he will be able to tell us if it's is healthy and whether it's a boy or girl.
