Since we are supposed to stay away from bready items for a little while I found this recipe that would work quite well. Instead of using a pizza dough to make yourself a slice of pizza try frying a tortilla shell in a greased pan until crispy. It is so light and thin that it will barely be noticeable but will give your little piece of pizza a little crunch. Just fry a tortilla in a pan and add your pizza sauce and cheeses and whatever toppings you would like. If your going to use sausage or pepperoni I would put it in a blender to get fine little piece of it. It tastes great and is very filling. Just a thought.. Cindy

Yum! That sounds good. Now do you use the low carb tortillas or normal tortillas? I have a real taste problem with many of the low carb products. Just curious. Thanks for the idea. Tamara 2/9/05 321/297/?

I just use the regular because we eat so little of it that it really didn't make much difference. I might try it with some pesto and chicken or something else just something to add some crunch. I miss crunchy things lol whatever it is.. cindy
