I just read where a doctor "back home" wouldn't remove a "G" tube. He said it was about liability. I think its about the money. He didn't do the surgery and get paid, so he won't help now. No one would be going to Mexico if it was not so expensive at home. We are forced to go else where. My friend who had surgery 10 1/2 months ago, just developed a hernia it sounds like. She was all the way in the surgery room, and already medicated when the surgeon backed off and said he wouldn't do the repair. WHY! Now she has to travel to California to the surgeon who did her surgery and find out what is going on. I am posting this because I would like everyone to continue to post their everyday ups and downs and any information about their doctors back home. all followups etc. We all need to know. for some of us, its already done and we don't know who will help us in the future if we develop problems. Has anyone had any experience in this area? You will help us all make good decisions if you will post your experiences. Kay
