Hi everyone, I just found this particular message board and have been reading posts from all the wonderful people that have been emailing me for the past few weeks. I am such a dork for not finding this board sooner. I have had great email relationships with people lately (love ya Cindy and Tami and GerrAnn) but this board opens up a whole new world. Surgery is Thursday, 1 day after Cindy's. I leave on Wednesday morning and am having a blast these last few days. I have been at peace for about 2 weeks but prior to that, had an extremely difficult time with last minute funding issues. But once they were settled, I knew I had done my research and was confident in my decision, so I have just been sitting back enjoying my 'limbo' time. I am normally an insomniac but lately I have been sleeping peacefully through the night. However, my dreams have been extremely colorful and strangely bizarre. I have never done LSD in my life, but my dreams show me what I might expect if I were to take mind-altering drugs. Very strange, out-of-this-world type dreams. I told my husband about a few of them, but he was so dumbfounded I finally decided to keep it to myself. He thinks I'm losing my mind! ha! Too late! I am very excited to be going through this. What a wonderful opportunity this is for me and my family. I have enjoyed every single second of picturing my new life without fat. I have smiled and had more joy since scheduling this surgery, than I have had in many, many years. What a great gift. Just wanted to post a message so I feel 'official'. Thanks to everyone who has been sending emails. They are wonderful. Talk to you soon. Lisa

Hi Lisa! Welcome aboard! I remember the day I scheduled my surgery. I floated through the day way above Cloud 9. I felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders! I can't say that I had a change in my dream pattern but I did sleep more soundly if you can sleep soundly with a CPAP mask on. Enjoy picturing your new life, it won't be long before you get to live that dream. There is no way I can describe how wonderful I feel and how happy I am. It just gets better every day. I wish you the best as you travel your weight loss journey. Cheri cherimoran.com

Hi GerrAnn, We are staying at the Hotel Coral (after a very short discussion with Tami.) I found that the Days Inn did not have many English speaking channels on the television, and heaven forbid if we're going to be in a hotel room for 7 days and can'****ch a lick of tv. Homey don't play that. So we changed to the Hotel Coral which I've heard has Satellite so we can watch all of our favorite reality tv shows. If you go in under their Special Packages, they have 2 day weekday and weekend packages available for the JR. Suites...as a bonus they give you food/drink and spa credits. So we used a 2 Day weekday, a 2 Day Weekend, and another 2 Day Weekday package and are getting $200 food credit and $150 spa credit. They also have a refridgerator and that concerned me with the Days Inn, especially after reading that some people have problems with the dairy products down there. So if I'm not in the hospital when you arrive (which I'm hoping I won't be), that's where I'll be! Can't wait to see you!
