Exclusion Clause in UHC- Thinking of Going South

Any suggestions? I am interested in the Adjustable lap band . I have had all the pre surgery testing the surgeon here in NC required- Insurance company paid fora everything!!! - Now they will not pay for the surgery - I need any help in surgeons, hospitals, clinics that any one can give. Thanks for the help.

Hi ! How could they pay for the pre-op and not the surgery? unless they had an exclusion added between the two dates. I believe, in OK anyway, the insurance companies can add or subtract in Jan and July. Do you have United Health Care? They are covering the surgery out here. Maybe different policy or something. Keep me posted. I understand the stress.
