This is my first post eve...

This is my first post even though I have been "lurking" for months. I finally have a date for my surgery - October 29, 2004. I going to see Dr. Kuri in Mexico. I was approved by my insurance for RNY but they will not cover the band. Since I'm self-pay I have decided this is the best route for me. I am so excited to get started. All the people here have helped me more than words can express. I value their personal experiences and appreciate their ability to talk about such a personal issue. Thanks again to everyone.- Leslie
