I had a duodenal switch done in Lima, Peru by Dr. Adolfo Guevara. Here is my 1 month update post. September 20, 2004 Well, it has been 1 month since I had my DS (Duodenal Switch) surgery. I am doing a lot better since my last update, but I still have my not so good days were I feel worn down. Usually if I do not feel well I can look at my food diary and see that I had not consumed many calories in the last 1-2 days. I have lost 19.5kilos (43 lbs) so here is my beginning/current weight/goal weight 275/232/180 I have added to my list of foods that I can eat the following: Pasta, steamed or boiled fish, bacon, fried eggs, rice, peas, corn, beans and some cheeses.
