Pre op Question

I will be having surgery with Dr A in Ensenada on October 6, 2004, my question is what tests should I ask my Primary doctor to order before I go down for my surgery? Also what tests should I ask her to do when I return, and how often should these tests been done to check that I am getting all my vitamins and am not lacking in anything?? Details appreciated.

Hi Anne! Congratulations on making the decision to have this done. Dr A is a great Dr. I made sure and had a complete physical prior to going down, with standard bloodwork, so My PCP had a starting point. You will need to get bloodwork done, at 3 mon, 6 months and every 6 months thereafter. I copied a list from the library on this website and gave that list to PCP to use. Good Luck!
