I'M UNDECIDED ABOUT WHICH DR IN MEXICO!
Hi Belkys,
I had my surgery with Dr.Aguirre on April 9, 2004. I know laperecopic operation will look better on you but I would go with the doctor that has more experience and who has more clients. When I was researching doctors in Mexico and I sow how many people are going to Dr. Aguirre I decided that he would be my sergeant too. He does a great job. My scar looks like a thin long line. By the way I already had two C-section and they hurt me more than open RNY.
Any way good luck in your journey and keep us posted.
Julia
Call me a nut, but I prefer open to lap anyway. I don't like the chances of something getting nicked or being left unseen because the field of vision is so limited.
I also highly value the community built around Dr. Aguirre's practice. Hearing from his patients was very reassuring - I felt I'd been through the entire experience 50 times before I ever stepped on the plane. There were no surprises and no shortage of people to ask all of my (many) questions.

Hi I know there isnt much out about Dr Aceves and I know nothing at all about the other Dr but Dr Aceves pulled strings and made me an offer I couldnt refuse but also couldnt afford lol he personaly asked the others involved in the surgery to "help me out" so I could have surgery but I dont have to pay anyone for surgery now since I won a free surgery but he was a good man personaly to do what he did for me and his nurse told me he has never done that for anyone before. I wont get into details because he CANT do this for everyone and I wouldnt want alot of people asking him to etc.
