Scar Care

I've recently learned about something for scarring that ya'll might find interesting. After my foot surgery, the doctor gave me a piece of silicone gel to put on my scar. My doctor had me use it only at night. It was held tight to the skin with bandaids. Less than 2 months later, my foot has healed with absolutely no scar. Here's an article on it: http://www.woundcare.org/newsvol3n1/prpt2.htm. Here's a place that actually has some sheeting long enough and also have some for breast lifts, etc.: http://scarheal.com/skincare_scar_acne_wrinkle_product_o.htm. I don't know anything about the company, but found their prices to be the most affordable and the only company with sheets long enough for our rny scars. It is thinner than the piece of silicone I got at the doctor's office. I'll be getting one in the not too distant future for my scar. Vicky P.
