has anyone had this surgery done in mexico

anyone how has had this surgery in mexico... Please let me know how your expierence went...

Lots of us have - look at Dr. Aguirre Wallace's patient forum. I had a very good experience as have many others.

I had the adjustable midband placed on May 20th by Dr Ponce De Leon in Tijuana because by insurance would not cover WLS. Im happy with my decision to go with the band rather then bypass because its adjustable that when I loose my weight I can go back to having a larger stomach when I want to maintain weight instead of loosing. The mexican drs are more experienced at the banding then US dr since they have been doing the surgery 9 years longer. The cost was 8500.00 whi*****luded everything, airfare, hotel , surgery , and hospital stay. I had 3 doctors that work as a team and terrific nurses that were most attentive and caring. I must admit that the care was more then what I have ever recieved in the states. cecile
