Paying for surgery in Mexico

Can I use my FSA card (Visa symbol) to pay for my surgery in Mexico? It's really my only option to paying cash. I am at the limit and really think that my insurance may deny me because I'm otherwise healthy (BMI fluctuating 39.0-40.0).

I would think not, since FSA cards are part of the US health system and would likely not work in MX

I was able to use mine without a problem, so you should check.  Good luck

Mexcali Baratriac.  I actually did not use the card itself I paid cash and then, got reimbursed from my FSA account as soon as i got back.  They tend to add 3% to card usage in Mexico, so I just did it a different way.  But used the FSA account.  I got the switch

^^ It's basically like a reimbursement claim. You usually have to submit the paperwork to prove the amount and then can get reimbursed the value
