Dr Francisco Gonzalez... Anyone used him???
Hey guys,
I'm new around here.. Planning on Mexico for VSG. I have came across Dr. Gonzalez and his credentials seem great, however it is always better to have some support from people that have actually used the man. Can anyone give me any RECENT reviews of him, the facility. It would be much appreciated!
I'm sorry, I can't. I am using Dr. Joya on Friday, and I'm not sure how it will go, but I promise I will let you know if it goes bad. Good luck to you on your journey!
Heading to the Amerimed hospital tomorrow. I am extremely nervous, lol that's why I need these forums to remind me that I am going to be OK. I wish I could have gotten a two week prescription for Xanax, lol I sure feel a lot of anxiety. Who did you decide to go with?
Maaaaaaan.... I feel the same way. My nerves are going crazy too. My fiancé and I are both going and I'm the one who had this fabulous idea. After he did research he was definitely on board too.. I would feel horrible if anything happend.. but I think it's just me being a "what if" type of person. I always tend to think of the horrible things vs. The great outcome. He and I are both going with Dr francisco Gonzalez at the San Juan clinica. He has years of experience and I've had GREAT communication with the tourism company as well as the nutritionist that will be visiting us. We are scheduled for the 19th. Good luck tomorrow I'm sure everything will be great! Check in and let me know how everything goes!
Just wanted to update everyone. .. we're here right now getting ready to take a taxi to the clinic.. everyone wish us luck. Just a little nervous to be finally doing this but so ready! The experience so far has been smooth other than our flight was delayed by an hour because the ramp would not detach from the plane LOL
Everyone has been great though. We're about to go check in at San Juan clinica :)
Talk with you guys soon!
Everything went great I'm down almost 70 lbs!!! And my fiancé is down 115 lbs! The clinic is small! We were the only patients there during the weekend they were very accommodating. My fiancé had absolutely no problems. I however did get a slight infection at one of my incision sites. Fixed myself with hibiclense. I would suggest taking some with you if your going. As well as a pillow of you're own lol the first night right after surgery was hard for me easy for my fiancé. I threw up and it killed my stomach. He however had nothing wrong he was up and moving laying on his side to sleep etc. Myself I felt just a little more sore so it took me about 5 days before I could lay on my side. As for the doctor we seen him before the surgery and that was it. But I didn't expect to much more than that. We were followed up for a few weeks from our nutrition specialist from Mexico and then follows up with the pcp at home. But all is well. It's been a journey and not every day is easy. But we're succeeding. My sister in law is even thinking about doing it herself in a few months. For people contemplating it is would do it over and over again. I wish I knew about this earlier in my life.
If anyone has any more questions feel free to ask away!! :)
