VGS may 22 with ALM.

I am scheduled to have a V G S procedure 5.22.15 with Dr Ortiz with ALM. Is it safe to go alone? What should I bring? Anyone's experience  with surgery in mexico would be greatly appreciated! 

 I had someone  with me but I would have been totally  fine by myself. The trip was very easy. I packed very lightly. I made sure to bring slip on shoes and pj's for walking the halls. Chapstick was a must. I also took my eReader but I never used it. Between sleeping and walking I never took it out of my bag. May will be here before you know it. Good luck!

He's doing my surgery on May 27!  I'm scared to death but excited also.  I'm wondering about wifi in the hotel and hospital?  Maybe I'll see you there; we're getting there a day early!  Good luck to you!

I'm getting sleeved at alm on May 15. I'm bringing a companion with me. A friend suggested that I also bring a heat pad if that helps. 

I'm having VSG surgery with Dr. Ortiz at ALM on June 20th. Could some of you share your experiences and let me know what to expect and what to bring? How was your overall experience? Thanks!
