Revision in MX

Any stories of people who have had revision surgery? Did you do much better the second time around?  

I had VSG Jan 2012 with Dr. Kelly and am wanting to try this again. Don't know which surgery or which dr to use.  Just looking for some feedback from others in the same situation.

How come you want a revision?  How much did you lose?

I lost about 44ish pounds in about three months. Then stopped losing all together. Trish, who was Dr. Kelly's coordinator at the time, told me to just be patient. But I never lost anymore, and in fact, I'm back to the same weight I started at. How is that even possible???? 

I am in the same position as you sadly, I had my surgery in 2011 with Dr. Kelly I only lost 60lbs and now need a revision.

Grrrr. So frustrating. Why did we fail? Or why did the surgery fail us?

Are you planning on going back? Which surgery are you thinking of?

From What I have heard it is quite common. I am considering going back to have Dr. Gilberto Ungson and having a resleeve and ds performed I am scared but I am more scared not to be here for my kids. I am not sure why the surgery failed us but I am not giving up just yet!

Do you have a date set? I have to say I'm very envious of you. I was just laid off (perfect time to have the surgery but just no money to pay for it).
