Can anyone share experiences with aftercare when having surgery in mexico?  What if there are complications from surgery 30 days out? I'm obviously not going back to MX for follow-up.  What do you do?

After care is with your family physician. its important that they know what type of surgery you are having. Your surgeon in Mexico will give you instructions for your doctor about the blood work you will need over the following year. If there is a serious complication your GP will refer you to a specialist. I had great follow up with my GP. No complications. Good luck.

I had my surgery 1/12/2013 in Tijuana and my PCP did my follow-up care which was my blood work every 3 months for the first year.  My surgeon Dr. Quinones give all his patients a copy of their surgery video that they can share with their PCP.

Good luck,

Stacy
