Looking to have Gastric Sleeve Surgery out of the US

Hi everyone! Considering going to Mexico to have a gastric sleeve done. I'm 59 and weigh 225. I'm wicked tired of being overwieght. I would appreciate any feedback on surgerons and hospitals in Mexico. Was looking at Tijuana, maybe?

Hi - I have been researching and finally settled on Dr.Juan Antonio López Corvalá MD FACS @ Hospital Angeles in Tijuana. The price is about $7000, whi*****ludes up to three nights in the hospital. I guess some places discharge you to recoer at a local hotel - which I personally wasn't comfortable with.

If you do a search on this forum you'll find a few different Dr.s that people have used.

Thank you! I appreciate all the feedback and look forward to reading more. A friend from my quilting group just went down and had a sleeve with Dr. Gutierrez and Dr. Pasten. She said the facility was lovely and clean, all spoke English and she had 24 hour nursing care. Going to do some more research?
