Anyone out there use Citerra Finance for WLS? Would you recommend?

I plan to have a MGB done within the next few months and before I send all my info over to Citerra I just want to see what other's experiences have been.  Anyone out there used this option for financing and if so would you recommend them?  Any details you can provide will help.  Thanks in advance!!

Thanks Sammy!  The search page did help a little, but I am just not finding reports from many people who used Citerra.  I find a lot of negative posts on other companies.  I appreciate your help though :)

I just used it and it was great since i don't have another way to come up with close to $6000 in cash. The finance charge is pretty high but having surgery in MX it's still a lot $1000s cheaper then getting anything done in the US.  The lady I think her name is Gen is super helpful and sweet. Just finished signing all my documents and planning on having my surgery in November.

Congratulations!  So happy for you and I wish you luck with your surgery and weight loss goals!  If you don't mind telling me, what kind of interest rate did you get?

Thanks :)

Total amount finances was 7200 with a 1.7% monthly interest and 20% yearly. My payments are 250 a month.

I see.  Thank you so much for sharing.  Definitely a comfort to me to know it is legit and not a scam or a total rip off.  Again, best of luck!

So I'm applying now. They agreed to give me $8,500 but the document they sent me to sign says I will be paying 20.99 interest on $13,021. The woman on the phone says the $13,021 is the total amount paid at the end of the loan including all interest. But no where in any of the documentation does it mention my original loan being 8,500. Is this legit? Or are they trying to get me to sign that they are loaning me $13000 but really only loaning me 8500?

I have also applied via Citerra and was approved. My loan amount is also $7300. I am kind of freaked out because on Bariatric Pal when I posted, I was really criticized for considering using it because of the high APR (21%) and the amount of add ons to the loan (about 2800k). Someone also said that they could sell off my loan and I would end up paying even more money (which sounds weird)!

Have you had any bad experiences so far? I really, really REALLY want to have this surgery. I need it.

Thanks for your input! :)
