How is your preop going?

Yep!!!!!!!! The preop is going good I actually started early because I wanted to try and get down to 220 for my surgery weight. I went to the store yesterday to get my stuff for my clear liquid diet so I can start it on Saturday. How is it going with your preop diet? Are you doing full liquid or protein/salad?

I've been on protein/salad thank goodness! It's been challenging, especially giving up coffee. But I'm glad it's done now and I'm not having caffeine withdrawal during recovery. Now we are at the home stretch and it's getting exciting! 

Me too. I'm usually good in the morning with just the protein but by dinner I'm ready to chew something. I guess the clear diet will be good practice for the postoperative diet. I know what you mean about the caffeine withdrawal I gave it up a while ago but those headaches can be brutal so hang in there. I can't wait until Tuesday even though the surgery isn't until Wednesday it will feel real once I'm on the plane leaving Vegas.

I'll be there with Dr. Lopez on the 18th, just a day before you! I have heard great things about Dr. Lopez, there is a great video a woman did on youtube that had Dr. Lopez and she sings his praises.  Her page is "Kianna: Leading Superwomen In Training, Get Your Capes!" if you want to see some of her videos.

Hi, I'm having the sleeve done April 16 with Dr. Lopez in Puerto Vallarta.  Anyone else scheduled for that time?

My husband and I are scheduled for Monday March 17 I am super excited and a little nervous!! Look forward to meeting some if you. I started the clear liquid today not to bad May be starving by Monday haha. But pre- op was great I started at 306 and I am currently at 288 :) yay me! My husband has also lost 20 PNDS!
