Newbie: Going to Mexico; Dr. Joya

Hey Everyone! I am new to posting on the site, although I have been reading everyone's posts for months now. I am excited to tell you that I have chosen to go to Mexico for my VSG with Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. I was able to get the financials in order and just have to give my deposit and book my flight. I am still nervous about my decision but I am more than ready to take the leap to get my life back. I plan to schedule my surgery after this semester of college is over. 

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on "must-haves" to bring with me or things that I should know before going. Thank You!

I'd say gas ex strips, lip balm, maybe some mouth wetting spray (because you won't be able to have water for a while.) Slippers for walking are good too.  Maybe a light robe?  Good luck! :)
