Im thinking of having surgery in Mexico..This is my worry about having surgery  with no insurance. What happens when you come home and have a problem and need to go to the hospital..Since your insurance didnt cover the surgery, will they  cover any complications??

I don't know how your insurance works - maybe call the company?

I'm in Canada, and if I run into any problems I can walk into any clinic or hospital and get help with no out of pocket fees.

No matter what your insurance people say, take the time to do your research. There are good reasons that the "A"s (Drs Aceves and Alvarez) are so popular - excellent care, top notch surgery, minimal problems. I'm SO glad that I chose Dr Aceves for my VSG. You really do get what you pay for.

Hi Kelly,

I am from Edmonton and am seriously considering going to Mexico for this procedure. Can you tell me who your surgeon was and how your experience was

Thanks,

Dr Aceves in Mexicali. My experience with him was excellent - I'd go again in a heartbeat.
