Trip in two days, what should I pack?

I have my surgery scheduled in Puerto Vallarta with Dr. Lopez and Dr. Osauna on November 15th and we fly out on the 13th.  Anyone have any tips about what we might need that I might not think of?  I have heard a few things here and there, but my brain is not working right now...thanks!

eek!  I'm so excited for you!  As I've not been down there for mine yet, I'm not sure what to tell you :(  I'm for sure taking my own pillow, my ipad, music, gas-x strips, and comfy clothes.  I plan on packing really light.  I don't want to keep track of a whole bunch of stuff from the plane to the hotel to the hospital and back again..blah!

Thanks! I will be sure to update everyone while I'm there if I can and definitely when I get back. I'm for sure bringing my kindle fire, gasx strips, and I have no idea what else, but I guess we'll see!

I heard that its good if you take silk pajamas, any hygiene products, meds, heating pad, loose fitting clothes, and dont forget the chapstick!!!!!  Hope everything goes well mama!!!!!  GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Everything above is correct. I just returned from TJ and surgery with Dr. Kelly on Nov. 5th. The first day(surgery day) I wore a johnny shirt and the second day I wore a light pair of PJ's. They unhook your IV when you shower so you can get your top on without interfering with the IV tube.GasX for sure and lip balm. They also told me to make sure my suitcase had wheels because you can't lift more than 25 pounds after surgery.

25 pounds, WOW in the states it was 5 and this time I was told ~8.  A gallon of milk is suppose to be the most weight.

Thank heavens my friend who was with me made sure i didn't carry or push or pull anything. It's better to be safe than sorry. A very big difference in weights though.
