Financing Dr. Alvarez with United Healthcare Lending
I have NO issues with Dr. Alvarez!! Let me make that clear!!
I financed the procedure through American Healthcare Lending, and got approved. All I had to do was call them closer to the surgery date to release the loan (i.e. send the payment to Dr. A) and sign off on the final paperwork.
I call them today to do this and find out that they made a behind the scenes decision to not work with Dr. Alvarez anymore due to some procedural thing. Susan asked them to notify patients... they did NOT.
So, heads up. If you are financing through them call now.
I am in panic mode hoping I can scramble financing in time to still get my surgery!!

Things ended up working fine, but only cause I reached out to a family member and told them the situation. I did not think they would be supportive, but they did loan me the remaining funds. I will be posting a note soon...
Deposit was $1000 to hold you spot, total for surgery is $8700, leaving remaining balance due at surgery $7700. He is not the cheapest, but I was happy he did only 2 surgeries per day, and was conservative in his pre-op diet, and his surgical techniques.
