Just wondering, do they give you meds to take with you? What do they give you like an antibiotic and painkillers? or do they write you a perscription to get filled when your back in the US?
&
Before you go under for surgery do they give you something for anxiety?

Thanks!!

You get to bring home with you, your Nexium PPI, which you get yourself at the pharmacy across the street from the hospital. They also give you a pain med if you need it, but I never used mine. You don't need an antibiotic. All meds are your responsibility to get from your own doc, but you really don't need anything other than your PPI for the first 3 months.

They give you something for your nerves when you go to bed to help you sleep and begin your over night fasting at the hotel. If you need something stronger, you can request it.
