Surgery done in actual Hospitals?

So I really want to get this surgery done and my insurance doesn't cover it AT ALL so I have to go the Mexico route but I keep coming across horror stories of surgeries done in strip malls. Are there any doctors that do the Gastric Sleeve in an actual hospital or at least a nice clinic?  I'm nervous enough and I will have to go alone and I don't want to spend that much money on a back alley clinic. Has anyone had surgery in the last 6 months that they could recommend a Doctor?

I was really kind of leaning towards Dr. Ramos Kelly but since his coordinator quit I was unable to reach him or his facility.

Dr kelly is booking his own surgeries.I emailed him and was really surprised how fast he got back to me. He had a packet of  information  sent right  away and was going to phone me to answer

Yes Dr Kelly is in a hospital, just do your research on whatever surgeon you select.

Thank you all for responding. I did speak with Dr. Kelly and I really think I'm going with him. I'm planning now and with any luck if I can get a pet sitter my surgery date will be July 20th.

I had surgery in TJ, in a "strip mall" and my care, my doctors and all of the staff along with my success since June have been amazing!!! I think the biggest issue here is we are pampered in the US. We have expectations of something grand for 1/3 of the cost. I have no complaints and I stand by this being the best thing I ever did. While I was there recovering I met 3 families that the person there recovering was number 3 or 4 in the family/friends to have the surgery at the same facility.

Thanks, I just really prefer a hospital since I'm a lot heavier than I ever should be and there are other issues that could arise and I want to make sure there is a staff on hand should something go wrong. Dr. Kelly has spoken with me and my surgery date is set. Thanks for all your help and advice.
