What the hell is going on?  Some kind of coordinator turf war??

Anyone with any sense will stay away from any doctor who involves himself with this kind of insanity...and its perpetrators.

WTF?

WTF indeed.

Economy is bad.  Patient coordinators in the U.S. for Mexican surgeons need to "bring 'em in".
Apparently, the confusion and anxiety is causes the patient isn't a consideration.... for the "sales person", the surgeon's office allowing this, or for OH.

Considering that I reported this offending post hours ago, and it is still up, with the lame response from OH being that:

"We are reviewing the post. Paid advertisers are permitted to post information in their signature line."

Ummmm, OK, what part of that entire thread dedicated to trolling for patients had anything to do with the offender violating the TOS on OH?  The mods on OH seem to have some sort of drastic change of late.  Their "excuses" make no sense.  We've got DSers being put on moderation for violating TOS, when there was absolutely no violation.  We have threads not being posted.  We have some yappy Pom dog claiming to be a therapist running roughshod (or apparently managing the mods of OH now), and we have obvious violations of the TOS not being pulled.

WTF indeed.

This skeevy used car salesmen vibe does nothing for the poor doctor's reputation.

Pity.

He seems to be a respected VSG surgeon being dragged into the gutter.

I had surgery with Dr. Kelly 13 days ago.  He's awesome, but when we brought up the paitent co-ordinator mess he seemed genuinely shocked - he had no idea about the bull *%&* that is going on.  This is a turf war, plain and simple.  I have no patience for office politics and gossip and rumours, I just wanted my surgery done by a surgeon I trusted.  And I really didn't realize what a mess it was until I got there.  But this ridiculous feud between Trish and Sandi is completely unprofessional - and one of my travelling partners told Dr. Kelly that in no uncertain terms.  It's only the patients who suffer, and we're under enough stress already.  For example, I currently have no less than 4 post-op diets, each different, and each given to me by someone representing Dr. Kelly.  I have no idea what I'm allowed to eat.  Bless his heart, but Dr. Kelly's solution was to bring in his wife...who I'm sure is a very nice lady, but doesn't speak enough English to help the patients or answer questions.  There are way too many cooks in Dr. Kelly's kitchen right now.   I'm hoping things will improve now that Dr. Kelly realizes what's going on.

They would stop if he would stop paying them.

I've been to FOUR bariatric surgeons in Mexico...there is no need for a coordinator.

PS--Of the four, at least one now has a "coordinator," and so I tell people not to bother with that practice.
