Financing-worried?

When financing for Mexico I wanted to use my bank. Has anyone done this  route vs. doing it through a finance company? I heard the interest rate would be smaler w/ the bank.Right now I'm trying to decide whether to wait for my taxes and do it or just aply for the amount then when i get my taxes i can pay a big chunk out of it.any opinions,sugestions are welcome.Thanks
