DO NOT USE JERASULEM HOSPITAL, FYI.
Interestingly enough, each of the posters that have claimed to have fabulous experiences have completely empty profiles. No story, no pictures, no updates. I smell a paid rat posing as a patient. This is not unusual for the unscrupulous practices.
Just sayin...
Can we have anyone that has an active profile that can report a positive experience, please?

I'm sorry but you ARE coming across very much as a "scaredy cat and whiney baby" was your sister a child that you were sooo worried about her? I too had my surgery at Hospital Jerusalem and was at first taken aback that it was a clinic in a strip mall..but once inside, who the hell cared what other stores rented space in the mall. I was checked by the cardiologist, introduced to Dr. Almanza, who answered all my questions, prepped for surgery, woke up in a small clean pleasant smelling and comfortable enough 2 bed room with a very pleasant room mate , proceeded to the recovery house which was a lovely multiple bedroom townhouse in a gated community . Verrry clean, verrry nice helpful staff, prepared wonderfully smelling food that I wished I could have eaten
....even taken for a few hours to Mexican tourist shop where I resisted what I'm sure were marked up prices as were the xrays which were a money grab..which some people fell for. I too dealt with Louise every step of the way and she never failed to answer any question I had and returned every phone message I left her. Would I recommend it to anyone? Sure would.
I think it would have been a much better experience or you to have had the surgery in your comfort zone in an American hospital with with a whole slew of relatives at your side.

I have checked each of the positive stories here. They are all NEW posters with no real profiles or latest post history.
TO the OP... I wish you a good recovery from here. You may have helped several people with your honest review. You definitely do NOT sound like a whiney baby.

Why don't you let your sister speak up by herself... I had a Gastric sleeve back in 2013 all I can say is that surgery did big change n my life those kind of surgeries are outpatient that's a very clean clinic I don't know what your issue just because of the shopping center located? Don't make bad comments on this type of business. I had the greatest experience with my surgery don't regret to go for it Just for some people that don't make sense about demanding people.
So, maybe you are a whiny baby...maybe you aren't. Bottom line is when it comes to YOUR health, YOUR well being, YOUR life...BE AS DAMN WHINY AS YOU WANT TO BE!!! If others don't like it, scroll on past and don't read the post!
I personally THANK YOU for posting your experience. I keep second guessing my decision to have the surgery here in the states instead of going the cheaper route in Mexico but thanks to your post, my decision is cemented! I will "pay the $20,000 and have it your way."

That's crazy, it sounds like things went downhill for them then. I had my VSG done there in 2010 and was very pleased with the facility, doctors, and overall care I got from them. Hearing this makes me sad because everyone was amazing when I was there and the surgeon was fantastic. The owner lived in the house across the street from the recovery house I stayed in and actually had us all over for dinner one night. I'm sorry you experienced all that. ð??"
