Dr. Aceves patients, where can my mom eat around there?

She is so worried she won't have any place to eat at near Almater hospital. Anyone's travel companion have a place they liked? She's really leaning on me about this, I need to be able to tell her where she can eat. She is a diabetic so she has to eat often.

My husband ate in the hospital, he said it was pretty good. There are a few places within walking distance of there as well.

They have a wonderful cafe right in the hospital with really great food.  She can eat there, I did.  Just make sure she tells them she wants the menu in English.  The food is great and so are the prices. 
I had surgery there, then went back with a friend about 6 months later and so I ate there while I was at the hospital with her.
