My family says going to Dr Aceves in Mexico is crazy!!
And yet people don't get nearly as alarmed about the fact that obesity is almost 100% guaranteed to make you sicker and shorten your life by a lot!
The tile shop comment made me think about my sister's comment to my BILwhen he started going "She's crazy! " and tried to make her not go with me (did NOT work) S told BIL that "It's a real hospital and a real surgeon...they aren't going to take us to a nasty bar, give her two shots of tequila and make her bite a bullet,and we don't have to do weird things with a donkey to pay for it". The funniest thing about it was that my BIL is an old hippie, etc and yet had never heard any donkey rumors about Tijuana...
