Down 70lbs as of today!!

Ok, now it's starting to sink in. I have lost 70lbs. as of this morning! I went to Mexico, to Dr. Ponce de Leon. I had my doubts when I had this surgery, afraid it would not work for me. But it has and I am so much happier.  If you have doubts, I guess thats normal.  I had a great experience, worth a little being sore for a few weeks. I was sooo nervous, afraid I was going to die over there (Mexico) and people telling you horror stories to discourage you. But it was all great... happy satified customer here!  Woot Woot to 70 lbs!

Congrats!!! I had surgery with Dr. Almanza just after you had your surgery. I am so glad that I did and also didn't let the nay sayers scare me off!

Hi Julie, I'm so happy for you. I have mine done on the 15th with Dro. Ponce de Leon. I have doubts too, as I already had the lap band and it didn't work.  but I'm giving this a try. Did you go through a Canadian company...? Did you stay on the recovery center.
