X-Post Goal Babeee With LOTS of Pics!!!
Post Date: 11/17/10 8:31 am
Hello there everyone!! I posted on Monday that I had made my goal of 165 pounds in exactly 8 months from surgery and I promised that pics would be forthcoming. I will probably let myself lose 10-15 more but I would be 100% happy to stay where I am at. I definitely have some fat still, especially in the hip/love handle area and on my back but all in all I think I look pretty darn good for a 41 year old, formerly obese woman who has had 3 children and NO PLASTICS whatsoever (and I intend to keep it that way, I'm too skeered! lol). I also have scars from gallbladder surgery as well as my WLS scars. The bikini pics tell me what my next focus needs to be....toning! So, I will focus on that and hopefully by a year out I will be better bikini material....we will see. Anyway, if you are thinking about having WLS, GO FOR IT!! It has been the best thing I've ever done for my health and well-being and everything feels so normal now...like I have always eaten like this, like a normal "thin eater"...really small portions and no pigging out and overstuffing myself. It feels so good to be free from that life! Well, as I always say, pictures speak louder than words so here you go!!
PS....Good Lord, that was harder than I thought it would be (posting bikini pics that is)! But, I promised myself I would do it when I made goal...I am hoping they are inspiring to newbies and pre-ops.
Surgery weight was 248 pounds and current weight is 164 pounds.
