Good luck to you!  If you don't find anyone going on your same date, you won't be alone.   Your van will pick up several other WLS patients who will have surgery on the same day as you.  We enjoyed going to their rooms & saying "hi" and chatting.  My daughter went with us, but the care you receive at the hospital is excellent so having someone go with you is not really necessary.

I am sooooo excited for you.  Glad that things worked out well and you have your date.  I am the 13th of Dec so you will hopefully be back home and in full recovery mode.

Yes husband is going with, we have to take our grandson back to San Diego to his parents.  And then the driver will pick us up at the airport.
