How was the flight going home with the gas and pain when you were flying.  I have to fly to the East Coast on a non stop flight and want to get an idea of what to expect.

I didn't go through any gas pain on my plane ride backk. I was in a lot of pain before I got on the plane, but the ride back wasn't bad at all, in my opinion, not even when it hit the ground on our landing.
Hope all goes good!

I'm four days post op and am flying the day after tomorrow.  My gas pain pretty much went away a day or two ago. Remember: the more you walk, the more you will pass and it will be pretty much gone :)

I had allot of gas pain right after surgery and then for about 3 days. The pain was virtually gone by the time I was on my way home.
