Just an update - Melissa had a smooth surgery and a good first post-op day with no problems. I'm so happy for her. The lady in the next hospital room to hers is a Canadian also and had the same surgery the same day. So they are walking the halls together. Great news!

It is!!!!! I'm so excited for her. I just got off the phone with her Mom and she's doing great. Aloowed ice chips tomorrow and has her leak test. Today has been up walking a lot and even went outside. In the shower twice as well. And - there are three other patients from Alberta there! Go figure! Thanks for everyones interest and support!
