Prices to have VSG in mexico?
Do your research on the Mexico doctors. My husband & I both had our sleeve done 19 days ago by Dr. Aceves in Mexicali. It was a GREAT experience (see my blog). We paid $9,000 each (all pre-ops are included plus 1 nite in hotel & 3 nites in hospital), but we had to pay our air fare to San Diego where we were picked up and our journey began. We paid for our "last meal" at the hotel as well. Our daughter came with us & stayed for free (she had to purchase her own meals).
Hi.
I didn't have a VSG, but I had Bypass. But the Dr. I suded was Dr. Castaneda he operates in either Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara. I had a very goof experience. If you decide on Dr. Castaneda, go through Medical Tourism and ask for him. If I am not mistaken it is abour 5500 - 6000 USD. His assistant picks you up and takes you to whatever hotel you pick. (Hotel not includedm or food.) WHat is included is the time in the hospital which is about 2 or 3 days.
He keeps you there about a week to follow up with you make sure everything is ok.
Well wish you the best.

I went to Dr. Rodriguez in Tijuana (he also does surgery in Juarez), and the VSG was $6700. The TVGP (plication, or as they call it there, super sleeve) was $6200. I went through www.beliteweight.com and that price was all inclusive except for the plane ticket. I just had it done on July 22nd, and was very happy with my care.
