Home from surgery 6/30 with Dr. Almanza

Well, I made it home last night from Mexico. I am feeling great. My belly is a little bit sore, but otherwise I am good. I am recovering well from my vsg and also removal of my gallbladder. My experience with Dr. Almanza and his staff was wonderful. I received better care after surgery than I expected. Everyone was attentive to my needs ( even at 4:30 in the morning). I only had to say what I needed and it was done. I am very pleased with my experience thus far.
Now I am off to start the next step in this journey.

Hi Melissa. I am so happy for ya. I am having surgery on July 19th and I am so excited. How many people were having surgery the day you were? I was going to have the vsg but could really only do the RNY due to other surgeries. Do you have much surgery pain? Was it taken care of pretty fast? Maybe we could do this journey together? I am glad you are feeling good.
