I have known Dr. Alvarez personally for many years, he is a gifted surgeon. kind, compassionate, very caring towards his patients, he is a gentleman in every sense of the word.   He has done more sleeves than any other surgeon in Mexico and many band to sleeve revisions.   He frequently speaks at OH events, always well attended.  You would be in good hands with Dr. Guillermo Alvarez.

VSG is very effective, in 10 years in the business I only know of a few sleeves that have not worked as expected.   Mine was perfect until I ruined it with diagnostics for another medical problem.   Once sleeved - no matter what any low level hospital idiot in the US tells you - check with your surgeon before medical procedures or diagnostics!   I drank 2 quarts of barium in 30 minutes several times during a diagnostic procedure and literally blew out my own stomach.   Hindsight is 20/20 - but always ask your surgeon about things that don't make sense to you.

HI... I had it last month in Hospital Jerusaluem and it was GREAT!
All of us there at the same time have started a group and we all had good experiences... If you need guidance you should talkyou would  with a coordinator.. let me know if you would like to speak about my experience with my coordinator.. she tells the truth.. no sugar coating
