Mommy's AWAKE!!!!!! :)
When I walked in momma's room today, I was amazed to see my mommy laying there with her eyes wide OPEN!!!!!!!!!!! :D She's been trying to talk, but she still has a little bit of that sleeping induced coma stuff that should be gone in a few days. She responds to EVERYTHING. My sister shaved her legs today, which haven't been shaved in 2 weeks, and she was happy about that. They have her off of all of her medicines and she has nothing in her throat anymore. The only thing she has is the tube in her nose that's feeding her... I cleaned the UGGHHY out of her mouth and her teeth. She wants water but she can't have it until she gets rid of that hole in her stomach ALL THE WAY. We couldn't understand her talk, so we tried to give her a pen and paper but she didn't have enough energy to write... everyday it's getting better. Tomorrow, a physical therapy woman is coming in and try to exercise her back to regain her energy. She may be talking by my birthday, which is in like 3 days I believe. :) To my friends, I'm about to post pictures of how good she is doing :)

What a relief to hear your Mom is regaining her strength and getting better! A lot of us have been worried right along with you.
