I am in my 3rd month now and within the last week I have noticed some hair loss. :( I am sure nobody else can notice, but I see quite a bit more than normal when I shower and brush my hair.

What is your experience?

I am 5 and half months out and haven't seen any hair loss.  I do take biotin twice a day and I am assuming that is helping.  It also makes my nails very strong.  If you aren't taking it give it a try.  It can't hurt.

I already tale biotin pre-op for weak hair and pathetic, peeling nails but it hasn't helped.  Is there anything else I should be doing for hair and nails?

Agh I have weak nails too... ! Def needs something. I don't want thinning hair.

I think I'll have to hit google for the answer to this question.

I am 5 months out tomorrow.  I think my hair loss has finallyslowed. It began around month 3.   I had to chop about 5 inches off because it was just too thin with stragly ends.   My nails are hard as rocks though  I think because of the biotin.
I've been taking 5000 mcg's faithfully every day.
I have also been using the Nioxin mousse every day.
It is so scary seeing how much hair does fall out!  Hopefully this is it now.
